Perth & Kinross Council have announced a brand-new grant scheme to help support local businesses.
The Micro Enterprise Fund will offer eligible businesses a one-off grant of up to £1,000.
The purpose of this new initiative is to support businesses that employ fewer than 10 people to expand and grow their business, or individuals looking to set up their very own business.
The grant can be used to cover up to 90% of viable project costs.
Am I Eligible?
To qualify for this great new support fund, you must be located within Perth & Kinross and employ fewer than 10 people. This includes sole traders, community groups, social enterprises and co-operatives.
What Can I Use the Grant For?
The fund will offer each eligible business/individual a one-off grant of up to £1,000 covering up to 90% of eligible costs of viable projects.
A viable project is described by Perth & Kinross Council as an activity that will benefit the local economy and that is essential to ongoing business growth.
Viable projects include:
• Development of e-commerce platforms or digital transformation activities
• Specialist consultancy support
• Targeted marketing in relation to new markets
