When Perth’s only award-winning car wash, Soaper Stars, wanted to re-open post-lockdown, AJD Digital was on hand to implement an effective digital marketing strategy to ensure the re-opening was a great success.
Objective
Our objective was straightforward. Generate awareness and create a buzz around the news that Soaper Stars was once again, open for business.
Our Strategy
To deliver results in a timely and cost-effective manner, we decided to focus on utilising Soaper Stars social media channels. Specifically, Facebook.
Firstly, we created and implemented a Facebook Advertising campaign, geographically focussed on Soaper Stars key target market, Perth & Kinross. The key objective of the campaign was creating awareness that Soaper Stars was once again open.
To create a buzz and to generate engagement with the Soaper Stars Facebook audience, we proposed a fun, social media competition. The prize on offer was unlimited free car washes for the remainder of 2020.
The Results
Soaper Stars owner, Ian, has informed us that there has been a constant, steady stream of vehicles visiting the car wash, daily since re-opening. News that we are equally delighted to hear.
Specifically our Social Media strategy delivered:
- The Facebook Advertising campaign reached over 28,000 people and delivered 750 clicks to the Soaper Stars website
- The competition reached over 41,000 people
- The competition generated over 5,500 post engagements
- The Facebook channel grew by 360 likes
